A number of times a year we hold a Listen & Lunch event in the Church at 1:10pm on a Thursday, especially designed for those who are working or shopping in town.There is a twenty minute talk on a topical subject followed by sandwiches and an opportunity for questions and discussion. Our next talk is planned for: Wednesday 31st March when Revd David Bourne will speak about coping with grief and suffering.
Open Air Services Open air service are held from time to time on the sea front or in the Church car park. For more information, please contact the church office.
Church Open The church building is usually open to visitors on Thursday and Friday mornings, from 10 to 12. (Not during November / December 2008 due to works going on in the church building.) One Saturday morning in each month during the spring, summer and autumn we usually hold an Open Day when the church building is open from 10.00am to 2.00pm for visitors to come in and look round, have a cup of coffee and a chat if they wish. A leaflet pointing out items of interest in the church is available. Volunteers are always required to help keep the church open as much as possible. If you are interested in helping in this way, please contact the office.
Tea, Chat, Shop Tea, Chat, Shop takes place in the Church Hall on the second Saturday of most months from 2.30 to 4.00 pm. Admission is free, with a friendly welcome, a great atmosphere, and amazing bargains. Tea, Chat, Shop - Dates for 2008
Church Holiday A church holiday is organised each year which provides a great opportunity for fellowship and fun together. Each day there are short thoughts for the day after breakfast and the evening meal. The next holiday is planned for Monday 14th September to Friday 18th September.
