Teaching the Bible in the Heart of the Town

Most people like to know something about a church before they venture through the doors so here are a few things that you can expect when you visit us or decide to stay around for a while.

A warm and friendly welcome

Everyone is welcome at any of our services and many have commented on the warmth and friendliness of the Holy Trinity church family. After our services there is always an opportunity to chat over coffee either in our church hall or at the back of church. We would love to get to know you.

A passion for Jesus

Jesus is the centre of our faith and our life together. Our aim is that our singing, our prayers, our conversation and the message we share are all motivated by our love for Jesus and our thankfulness for his life, his death for us and his resurrection. This is an extraordinary demonstration of God's love for humanity and because of this, evangelism is important to us.

A priority for the Bible

The Bible is given a priority in our services and our life together because we believe it is God's living word to everyone. God is our Creator and sustainer. In the Bible we encounter Jesus, God's Son, who is the 'Word'. Through trusting in Jesus alone, he offers true life and forgiveness for humankind's rebellion (sin) against Him. The Bible teaches us how we should live under his kingly rule. We pray that the Holy Spirit would shape our lives through Sunday talks, mid-week small groups and individuals reading the Bible with each other on an informal basis.
